Rachel Doyle is a social entrepreneur and the CEO of Glamour Gals, a nonprofit organization that combines both the older and younger generations' mutual love of manicures and makeovers as a powerful tool to bridge the gap between generations and reduce loneliness. Glamour Gals inspires and organizes teen volunteers to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary manicures and makeovers to residents in senior homes in 31 states and 150 communities with more than 10,000 volunteers across North America.In 2000, Rachel founded the organization as a junior in high school in honor of her grandmother who had recently passed away. She was unable to regularly visit her grandmother who lived in a senior home across the country, and she realized there were women in the senior homes in her local community who also were not receiving regular visits from their families.
