Meanwhile, Apollo Global Management shares slipped in morning trading after one of its private credit funds said it will enforce a cap on withdrawals. Redemption requests from investors have been rising, and some asset managers have limited investors' ability to withdraw funds this year.
Private credit managers are facing a reckoning after lending heavily to software firms. Investors have been looking to reduce their exposure to that sector after high-profile defaults and recent restrictions on redemptions have only added to the concerns.
Finally, FedEx is launching a new delivery service called Same Day Local that offers shoppers two-hour or end-of-day delivery directly at checkout. The package delivery giant says it's partnering with delivery provider OneRail to connect customers to a national network of more than 1,000 providers.
