First up in news, some disappointing news, I guess, is that there's a new tanning trend that is, I just can't even believe that it's here. You're going to tell me about it, but I don't really want to hear, but we need to put the word out. It's very annoying. Then we are going to move into Q&A and we've got two great questions as always. And I've got some really fun things to show everyone. And that's why I've got like a little bit of joy on my eyeballs in celebration of that segment. I've got joy in my bag. And, Leigh, last week I talked about a $66 concealer. That was my MVP, and I was like, it's fantastic. I have found a $5.50 concealer. That's good. That's insane. Were you inspired by my $3.90 eye cream? No. Okay. I still want to try that, though. I really liked that, actually. All right, Kel, let's catch up on beauty news. What is happening? First up, unfortunately, tanning is back. We did not think that we would be saying that in 2026, but alas. It is. Honestly, this year is a bit of a bin fire, so I'm not surprised, but I'm very disappointed. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. Exactly. So last week we spoke about eye maxing, which we basically just had a giggle about how it was a very clicky way of saying doing your eye makeup in a really flattering way.
This week we're talking about something far more sinister in the era of young people maxing everything, and that is tanning. So are people calling, I know this is an aside, but are people actually calling it tan maxing? Because then there was that looks maxing with those men that, wow. The hammer their face? Yeah, that's a separate discussion. So as in real tanning, like the thing that we thought we'd left behind when all of the stats started coming out about it, like, oh, one person dies every six hours from skin cancer. Those sorts of stats? Yeah, not fake tan. No, no, no, tanning. Right. So basically this came about, like I did see tanning start to trend. A lot of my socials last year. Me too. During Euro summer, so our winter last year.
But Ayubi last week shared a Explain It To Me podcast episode, which was about the tanning trend. And she was saying, I've just listened to this episode.
