Episode 181: Epoch

Hello and welcome to Season 6 of Your Greek Word On A Sunday. A little bit of news before we begin our word journey this season. Let's begin! (Intro & piano music)As we enter Season 6, we might as well record the word ancient Greeks used for, marking a point in time that stands still, a transfer period, a beginning of a new era or the marking of one. In Latin it just meant 'era' and in modern Greek 'season' (which is appropriate as Autumn is upon us) . So. happy new beginnings everyone!
