(Intro & piano music)One of the things I was worried about, around season 2 of this podcast, was how to explain the spelling when talking about different alphabets, It proved that I didn't have to, thanks to words like the one today. The only thing people had to do was replace the letters with the Latin equivalent, and say it out loud. Πίμπλημι (piblimi) in ancient Greek meant 'I'm full' or 'I fill up'. The original verb is not used anymore but many nouns and adjectives coming from it, are. There's one in particular that has moved into English and has undergone the spelling treatment.
