How did the hosts recap their week and travel plans at the episode start?

Beth Anne Brice 0:00
morning and welcome back to your podcast we're your hosts i'm bethann and i'm kaylee and we're just kidding i'm kaylee and i'm bethann and we're so glad you're here give god the glory glory rise and shine how'd you sleep last no chay like a rock period like a rock i was really teeping Really teepee. Really teepee when the alarm went off this morning. I actually woke up this morning, 6.35, and I immediately got on Amazon, y'all, and I ordered... another hatch alarm clock to travel with. But let me be transparent in this moment. It's not the brand hatch. Like I have the real hatch in my room, but I thought about getting the brand hatch, like baby alarm clock because it's super travel size, but then it plays lullabies and it kind of like seems to have things I don't necessarily need.
Beth Anne Brice 1:02
I literally just need something peaceful to go to sleep on, peaceful to sleep with and peaceful to wake up to. What I do is I play the hatch alarm on my phone. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But then what do you do for your actual alarm? Like it's still very jarring. Like when we were out of town in Fort Lauderdale this past week, like I was scared every time the alarm went off. Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah. I need that to wake up too. So I got a $45, you know, moment. It's Amazon's choice. 4.8 stars. A trust and believe. I mean, there was a review on there talking about, I don't normally leave reviews, but I've just. got to say what a gem this is and it is truly transformative and i'm like yeah add to cart by now delivers to mercer today's saturday because working on the weekends like usual and we're just kind of grinders in that way grind on me
Unknown 2:13
i literally can't believe that's what you came up with oh my goodness sorry so yeah we that's just what we do right and
Beth Anne Brice 2:35
And we've got a spin class after this with Chain Dog. Uh-huh. We're excited about it. And so, but with that, well, lordy mercy, it's left me. What was I going to say? How we got up this morning. Waking up. Oh, no. Run on me. Wait, what was I going to say, Kaylee? You've thrown me off. I've thrown you off. Okay, well, let me tell it. I'm proud of something today. Did I finish? We don't leave for our trip to New Jersey. You already got it. Yeah, I got it. Sorry, I was just going to say. I was talking about the day. I got it because I was saying the alarm. And it's delivering tomorrow, Sunday, June 12th. And that's perfect because we leave for Ocean City, New Jersey on Monday. Hey, not June 12th. Can it be? July 12th.
Beth Anne Brice 3:34
Correct. July 12th. And if you're listening and you think you want to break in, too bad. We've already hired security. So they'll be here. They'll be here. But... Yeah, because we don't play that anymore, y'all. I finally got my Chevy Tahoe back yesterday. It was a little, you know... cross of the arms because the tape was still on the window that he told me they were like replacing that part of the window. So I'm like, oh, well then you did it because there's this tape on it. I see the tape. So then he did get it off and he was like, oh, I asked them if they got it. They told me yes. And I'm like, well, you told me I was getting a new window. Okay, that's weird. And it could have been a miscommunication.
Beth Anne Brice 4:13
I could have faded out of the conversation and come back in, and I just could have made that up. That's very curious. Nothing is gospel, but there was that, and then there was the other seat. Do you know the seat that Georgina rode back on?
Yeah.
Beth Anne Brice 4:26
If you're new here and you missed it that my car got broken into a few weeks ago, it did. And the glass pulled up some of the leather, actually a lot of the leather in my car. And so I noticed like that in that seat, the leather was still pulled up like it had not been repaired. And I knew when that guy came to inspect it. Lenny, remember that grouchy guy that came to inspect my car that time? And he was like sitting outside the house and just smelled like cigarettes. So he did not report that other side of the car with the leather. So then they didn't repair this. He's like, well, I'll get it fixed for her.
