In this episode I spoke to Jirka, the mountain trekker who has already been on the podcast before. This time we attempted to look at the most common English tenses. I employed the didactic method of personalization. The idea is nothing brand-new, I often do this with students in my classes. In this particular case, however, I sometimes I went over the top with my questions and at times made the interview sound somewhat contrived, rather than natural, this applies especially when we are dealing with past perfect tenses.. In addition, we both apologize for making various sorts of errors, ranging from grammar and lexical ones all the way to general knowledge ones. I am sure that my CELTA tutors wouldn't praise me for excessive echoing either. We recorded this off the top of our head(s) - If I may inflect this idiom in this way. I could have done something about the mistakes in post-production but I decided to leave the whole recording as much authentic as possible. I hope you appreciate it and don't give us too much stick.
