23) How to Make Things Go Viral - Gaining Momentum & Emotional Standpoints

On today's episode of Zen Business Podcast, I discuss my personal insights & tactics I use to make my work "Go Viral".  From social media posts to major business moves to philanthropic endeavors, my job as a growth hacker is to make apps go viral. By using proven and effective strategies on your average tech company, I have developed many case studies and new strategies from my digital marketing experiences. I have had my own fitness tracking/rewards app blew up on Twitter. On the other hand, Monster, TikTok, & Xfinity are just a few of my previous clients since 2014 that went viral under my growth strategies.   The roots of virality are a tale as old as time. Literally! Virality existed before Facebook, youtube, and the internet in general, and even before TV and newspapers. Sensational news has always a tight chokehold on the world's emotions. People love a good story whether it's sad, heartwarming, or even downright infuriating. A great story is what you are here to sell, and share-ability matters. Maybe you want to launch a company contest or giveaway with a sweet prize or launch a new app with an innovative or unique service from scratch, or maybe a cause that is extremely personal to you that you'd like to bring awareness to. Outcomes can be amazing, devastating, or simply ineffective depending on your approach.  A key factor to this success is to chose your "element" that will make your product or content go viral. Your intentions must be laid out before even considering publishing your future viral hit. Do you present your content in a negative connotation to invoke emotion and rile up people who want change? Do you take the path of positivity to inspire viewers to take action? With whatever you pick, are you doing so for altruistic reasons and with good intentions? What is it that you believe will truly grasp peoples attention long enough for them to buy what you are selling?
