24) K&J Founders Episode - Mindfulness & Work Habits with Kale Panoho & Adam Stinson

In this episode of the Zen Business Podcast, I am joined by two of my long-time cohorts and business partners from our own K&J Growth Hacking Company to dig deep into work habits and the changes that made us stronger through the years. For years, the K&J Partner team (Kale Panoho, Adam Stinson, and myself, Jonathan Maxim) have been optimizing the way companies grow online. As a result, we lead our online marketing firm, K&J Growth Hackers, to become one of the most fast-growing marketing companies known to publishings like Inc, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and more. With over 200 major companies under our belt (like TikTok, Xfinity, & Monster Energy), the K&J team did not simply get lucky and meet the right people. It took many years of loss, learning, and sacrifice to bring the company to where it is today, thanks to the hard-working minds that keep us going in the U.S. and New Zealand offices. In today's episode, the K&J team flips the script and picks my brain on mindfulness habits, career changes and so much more. How did K&J Start? Jonathan and Kale met during a business conference as marketing competitors. Once realizing that their mindsets and vision for their companies we more similar than different, the two decided to partner up to create their own marketing company, K&J Growth hackers. With offices in Dunedin, NZ and Los Angeles, CA, both individuals built a driven marketing team & strong client portfolio that lead K&J to market for companies as big as the New Zealand Government, TikTok, Monster Energy, University of Delaware and so much more.  Adam Stinson, a young business major, met Jonathan over 4-5 years ago during a tech and entrepreneur summit where Jonathan was a speaker. Trying to discover the path towards a career in business marketing, Adam inquired for Jonathan's advice, which lead to Adam beginning an unpaid internship where he learned directly under Jonathan everything he needed to know about marketing. After a few years of growth, Adam re-joined Jonathan & Kale at K&J and quickly worked his way to Junior Partner of the company. Now, Adam supervises and oversees the client-facing part of K&J as part of the director's team.
