R. tarasevichiae感染が確認された。症状は発熱、倦怠感、筋痛、胃腸症状など非特異的で、多くは血小板減少や肝酵素上昇を伴った。66%が同時にSFTSウイルスにも感染しており、8例が死亡した。本研究は、この病原体が地域で広く潜在的に流行している可能性と臨床診断の難しさを示唆している。この2報はともに、中国におけるマダニ媒介リケッチア病原体のヒト感染実態を初めて明らかにした重要な報告であり、今後の診療および感染症モニタリングにおいて大きな示唆を与えるものです。
