今回のテーマは、 『ミズダコ』。北海道は、タコの水揚げ日本一！年間の水揚げ量は、およそ2千トン！その中でも特に多いのが「ミズダコ」です。北海道に住む私たちにとっては、スーパーで目にする身近な食材ですが、実は、世界最大のタコで、北海道にとっては大切な水産資源。さらに、様々な可能性を秘めていて、今、研究が進んでいます。今回は、イカやタコを研究している、北海道大学 大学院 准教授の バウア・ジョン・リチャードさんに「ミズダコ」について伺います。
