＜内容＞〜「北海道･北東北の縄文遺跡群」の世界文化遺産登録を目指す中、この世界文化遺産を北海道全体の発展のために活用することが重要です。世界遺産登録は、飽くまでもきっかけにすぎません。「北海道の縄文」と聞いてすぐに思い浮かぶようなシンボルが必要であり、考古学的価値とは別の軸を置かないと、大きな力にはなりません。「北海道･北東北の縄文遺跡群」を地域づくり・観光とどう結びつけるのか、どのように世界に発信していくのかを札幌国際大学観光学部観光ビジネス学科教授である池ノ上 真一さんにお話を伺いました。
