今回のテーマは『雪見風呂』。入浴しながら、雪景色を楽しむ 「雪見風呂」。まさに雪国ならではの楽しみです。特に北海道は、温泉資源に恵まれ、温泉地の数は200を超え、日本一！道内各地、ほとんどの市町村に温泉があると言われています。さらに、雄大な雪景色が楽しめる北海道。冬になると、旅行雑誌やインターネットの観光サイトでも雪見風呂が特集され、北海道の温泉も紹介されています。北海道に暮らす私たちにとっては、なじみのある雪見風呂ですが、人の暮らしのすぐそばに、雄大な景色が広がり、そこに良質な雪が降り、しかも温泉資源に恵まれている、これほど環境がそろっているエリアは、世界的にも珍しいと言われています。今回はニセコ在住で、北海道唯一の「温泉ソムリエ師範」、「トムさん」こと、さとう努さんに 「雪見風呂」 について伺います。
