＜内容＞〜色とりどりの花が並ぶ花屋さんやホームセンター。母の日にはカーネーション、夏にはひまわり、クリスマスにはシクラメンなど、季節に応じて好まれる花が異なります。需要が高まる季節にその花を咲かせ、出荷することが花卉生産の仕事です。花卉は、「心豊かな生活」や「癒やし効果」など様々な効用を持つだけでなく、日本の伝統や文化にも深く結びついています。本道においても、冠婚葬祭だけでなく、ガーデニングやフラワーアレンジメント、「花育」や「物日」における花卉活用の普及など、日常生活の様々な場面で花卉を取り入れる動きが拡大しています。今回は(株)秀芳生花代表取締役副社長の黒澤健一さんに北海道の花卉についてお話を伺いました。
