今年最初のテーマは、北海道の空の玄関口『新千歳空港』。千歳市と苫小牧市にまたがる広大な敷地は、およそ720ヘクタール。国内4番目の大きさを誇ります。施設内には、およそ180の飲食店やショップが軒を連ね、北海道の味覚を楽しめる上に、ホテル、温泉、映画館をはじめ、レジャー施設も充実。国内の好きな空港ランキングでは、常にトップクラス。2019年の乗降客数は、過去最高のおよそ2460万を記録しました。2026年の開港100年に向けて、さらに進化する「新千歳空港」。今回は、千歳市空港政策課の 甲木洋実 （かつき・ひろみ）さんに「新千歳空港」について伺います。
