Description
查令十字街以二手书店著名，但出售新书的大店也有几家。最有名的当然是Foyles，与艺术学院门连门，毫不谦逊地自称是“世界上最大的书店”，绵延的书架在一红一白两栋五层楼里铺展开来，楼外有些俗气的霓虹灯招牌非常醒目。当时书店的掌门人还是老姑娘Christina，店中书籍不以类分，而是以出版社来上架，也没电脑系统，财务全靠手工输入。但因为不论多么小众的出版物，都可能在这里找到，所以，来此参观或购书的人还真不少。
