今回は日本一大きな〇〇〇のご紹介です。 早速ですが、クイズです。 奄美に住んでいる、日本一大きな〇〇〇と言えば、次のうちどれでしょうか？ ------------- １．ウサギ ２．イモリ ３．ネズミ ------------- 答えは、 ３のネズミでした。 ということで今回は、日本一大きなネズミと言われる「ケナガネズミ」のご紹介です。 奄美大島と徳之島、沖縄本島にも生息するケナガネズミ。 天然記念物に指定され、また国内希少野生動植物種として保護されている貴重なネズミです。 ナイトツアーで見つけると、事情を知らないお客さんよりもガイドの方がテンション上がってしまうくらいのレアさ。 先っぽだけ白い尻尾が特徴で、尻尾まで含めると60センチの大きさ。 ちなみに身体だけだと20センチ程。尻尾が40センチもあるんですね。 奄美大島内での生息地やエサについてもご説明しています。 後半は、周作が何やら面白いネタを用意しているそうです。 「所詮ネズミでしょ」 と思われている方こそ、お聞きください、とのこと。
