不經不覺，1919年嘅五四運動，至今已經過去咗超過一百年。我哋會藉由〈紀念「五四」〉(1935年5月5日)，睇下胡適點樣從當時報刊嘅報導，回憶五四運動當日嘅情狀。胡適認為，五四運動之所以可能出現，一方面係因為當時學生嘅愛國情緒，另一方面係當時嘅威爾遜主義所帶嚟嘅樂觀思潮——佢甚至稱之為有住「狂熱的樂觀」嘅時代。正正係咁樣嘅時代，以致北大校長蔡元培從演講中呈現出「公理戰勝強權」嘅呼求。從此，思潮走向孫中山所講嘅「思想的變化」，aka 革心。依家，我哋就喺五四運動百年以後，睇下胡適喺五四運動16年後嘅紀念文。
