七支坐法的静姿,必须将头顶端正,大脑稍微靠后,以使脑下垂体不受压迫而恢复正常。因此脑下垂体内分泌的均衡活动使影响淋巴腺、甲状腺,而至于肾上腺等恢复健康的作用。其次,下颚稍微向后收压,可使左右两大动脉管输送血液到脑部去的工作缓慢;可以减轻脑神经的紧张与思虑,对于血压有恢复正常的功效。其他有关间脑和眼、耳、口、鼻等的细节;在此不尽详说。
