I call to order the April 4, 2024, public hearing of the Leesburg Planning Commission on TLZM-2022, West Park Tech and TLSE 2022-0009, West Park Flex Industrial. Rich Klusick, Land Use Manager, Department of Community Development will be speaking to this.
All members of the public are welcome to address the commission on this application. Persons wishing to address the commission should sign up at the podium. Once recognized by the chair, individuals should advance to the podium and state his or her name and address. Persons should also indicate whether they are representing anyone other than themselves. After the presentation or comments, please be seated unless the chair or a member of the commission has questions of the petitioner or speaker. Statements which are demeaning or defamatory to members of the public, staff, or the commission are inappropriate and out of order. In the interest of fairness, we also ask that you observe the three minute time limit.
You will hear a bell at the end of three minutes. At that time, we would appreciate you summing up and yielding the floor when the bill indicates your time has expired. This rule applies to all citizens. However, if you're representing a group such as an HOA, please indicate the group that you're representing when you sign up, and you'll be allowed to have five minutes to speak. The procedure for the public hearing is as follows. First, the staff will present their report. Second, the applicant will make their presentation. Third, members of the public. We'll have their opportunity to speak. Fourth, the planning commission will be asking questions. Fifth, I will close a public hearing or leave it open until the next meeting.
We'll have public planning commission discussion and then a vote or delay the vote to the next meeting. With that, Mr. Clusick.
