The first one being on exclusions for maximum building height. Or Parking exemptions. Is anybody here to speak about something other than those two?

Okay. With that then I I'm sorry, you do have three I have three petitioners. Petitioners, okay. Then I'm going to read the petitioner section. Persons wishing to address the commission as a petitioner should sign up at the podium. Once recognized by the chair, individuals should advance to the podium and state his or her name and address. Persons should also indicate whether they are representing anyone other than themselves. After the presentation or comments, please be seated unless the chair or members of the commission have questions of the petitioner or speaker. Statements which are demeaning or defamatory to members of the public, staff, or the commission are inappropriate and out of order. In the interest of fairness, we also ask that you observe the three-minute time limit.
You'll hear a bell at the end of three minutes. At that time, we would appreciate you summing up and yielding the floor when the bell indicates your time has expired. This rule applies to all citizens. However, if you're representing a group such as an HOA, please indicate the group you're representing when you sign up and you'll be allowed up to five minutes to speak. So with that can we have our first speaker please?

As well. And I actually have uh just some questions more uh and some concerns about both items on the agenda. Um I guess the parking lot's the f excuse me, the first item now. Um the parking uh The parking issue. And I'm just a little concerned about the change. It doesn't seem to be too radical, but the biggest chunk of off street parking we have is nowhere near the commercial businesses. Um the Pennington lot, which is mostly empty. um is not the the most convenient to likely redevelopment. Now, I guess some of those houses could be redeveloped into commercial if there were some zoning changes. But I think, you know, when you go from a five hundred foot radius to a thousand foot radius, you don't double the size of the area covered by each garage, you quadruple it.
And so I think that needs to be taken into account. Um And I'd also be interested in hearing what the staff has come up with as far as a new p uh fee in lieu of figure, 'cause I know the other one was considered to be very low, the the existing one, the eight thousand dollars uh and change one. My other uh my concern uh request for clarification on the the proposed building behind Lightfoot Um and the and those kinds of issues with the t with the the tall towers. Um I have a question about um well there's two things. One thing I was initially kind of okay with it. Um but there was a a change made six days ago into what was in the packets and it was a significant change.
