No. Okay. Then I will forgo reading anything about the petitioners section. Um with that I'm going to go into the work session and we'll start with capital improvement plan presentation. Mr. Wagner? Welcome, it's nice to see you.
How do I make this a full screen? There we go. Good evening, Madam Chair, members of Planning Commission. I'm Doug Wagner. I'm the Assistant Director of Capital Projects. I'm this here here this evening.

Yes, ma'am. Again, uh good evening, Madam Chair, members of planning commission. I'm Doug Wagner, the Assistant Director of Capital Projects. I'm here this evening to brief you on our proposed two thousand twenty-six to two thousand thirty-one capital improvement plan. Um little bit of overall history, the definition of a capital improvement plan is any construction, renovation or demolition or acquisition of assets, property, uh more than sixty thousand dollars with a useful life of more than five years. Um this year's CIP we currently propose ninety-two projects. You can see from the trends from 2016 to 2020, CIP stayed generally generally flat from 2020 to 2026 has continued to ramp up. Um in the bottom bottom right you can see fifty four percent of the capital improvements plan is streets and highways.
Um with the next largest being utilities, then administrative, general government, um parks, airport and drainage. Um this year we have thirteen new projects added to the capital improvements plan. Uh they are under general government the electrical vehicle charging in several locations around town, the town hall roof replacement, parks and wreck, um idly outdoor tennis court and fence rehab with streets have several uh battlefield parkway safety improvements. Um Lee Avenue Sidewalk missing link, it's a missing leak um on Lee Avenue around the White Oak subdivision. Um Liberty Lot resurfacing access and safety improvements, milling and paving program.
