I had a meeting with an affordable housing developer, Stefan Cronenberg, but there is no business at this time before the commission. I hear that a lot. All right, chair's statement. I want to start, since this is my first meeting as chair, by thanking everyone, particularly our former chair, Commissioner Robinson, for her leadership and her fine work and also I wanna thank Brian for stepping up once again to be vice chair and all of you again for your trust and the work that we do. I think we all seem similarly as valuable, important to our community and spending the time and energy here takes away from our family and others, but we do it because we wanna serve

So I'm looking forward to a great year, keeping Commissioner Barnes under control, and making sure, again, that we give every applicant, every town staff member the due respect, honor, and diligence that the work that they put in reflects on how we treat that work. And the public hearing is on the draft of the FY2027 capital improvements plan, presentation by Doug Wagner, Assistant Director of Capital Projects and Public Works. So let me call the order of the public hearing. I call the order. This February 5th, 2025 public hearing of the Leesburg Planning Commission on draft FY2027 capital improvements plan. All members of the public are welcome to address the commission on this application. Persons wishing to address the commission should sign up at the podium. Once recognized by the chair, individuals should advance to the podium and state his or her name and their address. Persons should also indicate whether they are representing themselves, anyone other than or anyone other than themselves after the presentation or comments please be seated unless the chair or member of the commission has questions of the petitioner or speaker statements which are demeaning or defamatory to members of the public staff or the commission are inappropriate and out of order

At that time, we would appreciate your summing up and yielding the floor when the bell indicates your time has expired. This rule applies to all citizens.
