Well, good evening, supervisors. Good evening, staff. Good evening, Loudon. I'd like to call to order the May twenty ninth, two thousand twenty four Board Supervisors Transit Summit. Okay, so whenever we do the summits, I always like to invite any of the um advisory bodies that are are groups that I think are are going to be helpful. Now, truthfully it could be a lot and I try to get all the ones that I that I feel are gonna be most directly impacted. Having said that, if I don't get it everyone, people should remember loud and please remember You can email us at any time um and communicate with us any other ways just so we know what you're thinking about these issues. And so I do have um three of the four invited advisory bodies here with us this evening. I'm gonna call your name and when you come up you have you will have three minutes to speak on behalf of your advisory body and then we were gonna we're gonna do the first two items and we'll take a dinner break and do this and do the second two items.
Supervisors, it would as I read through this package And my staff and I sat and went through this package. It's my thought that so many of these, the well, these four sections kind of build on one another one another. And so a motion on on item one could impact something on item three. I would prefer if we hold all of our motions to the end, because I just don't I think if we I think we'll be we will be going back and change emotions if we don't hold them to the end. Because our whole transit system builds on itself. And so if you don't mind, can we go through all the items, get all the answers, and then at the end make the motions? Cause I think that that just makes a lot more sense to do it that way.
Without objection, I think that makes more sense. Um so The three people we have here are from the Transit Advisory Board, the Commission on Aging. the disability services board. I do see uh Mr. DePeshi in the room from the Transit Advisory Board and it would be uh Mr. Fasolo and Med and then Miss Ingram. So the three of you in that order, um if you come to the dais or the the podium closest to you, first of all thank you for coming uh and representing your organization well your commission, your committee or your board. And thank you for serving because you know we We we can never thank enough volunteers who serve on our commissions, committees, and boards. It's really, really important. So with Mr um I see Mr De Pesci in the room, is it gonna be you, sir?

Aye. Madam Chairman. And members of the Board of Supervisors, good evening. My name is Mr Radel Pesh and I'm the chair of the county's transit advisory board or Tab. Delays in between the Board of Supervisors, County Staff and the Community on issues regarding local, metro, long haul commuter, power transit and other transit public transit services in Loudoun County. The tab is a diverse group of parties and constituencies and substantial interests and stake in the Loudoun County Transit Services. My statement tonight reflects consensus views of the entire TAB membership. all of whom have received and approved the positions and recommendations set forth below. The TAP very much appreciates this opportunity to address the board on these critical issues.
