On one of your slides, it's the substation approval process, and you have the utility planning, the conceptual design, and after that is either the county land use submission with the special exception or site plan, local hearing and approvals, and then next to that is the SEC application filed, if required, and there's an SEC review and hearings.

It has seen increased cut through commuter traffic due to Route 15 congestion, making erosion and potholes worse.
These conditions raise safety concerns, often forcing drivers to have to navigate to the other side of the road to avoid the damaged areas.
Preserving Wilt's Door Road's heritage as an unpaved rural road matters.
It's more than a road.
It is part of our community where neighbors know one another, walk, bike ride, or ride horses, gather for cookouts, and value its beautiful rural landscape.
Paving would change it, inviting more traffic and high speeds.
Thanks to the Rural Roads Committee for working closely with the county and VDOT on developing criteria to identify these unpaid roads for improvement while preserving them.
