All right, cool. Well, good evening, supervisors, staff, and good evening, Loudoun. I'm going to call to order the May 7, 2024 Loudoun County Board of Supervisors business meeting. Supervisor, before I read the consent agenda and read all the proclamations, I'm going to make two requests. These are not mandates, these are just requests. First, if we could maybe get our proclamations done, our resolutions done a little earlier, and just put them on the, where Jessica or Janet sit upstairs, because to try to sign, no kidding, 40 copies of different proclamations. What when we step on the dais and run a meeting is nearly impossible and not very effective. That's the first request. Secondly, we had gotten to a really good habit of taking our proclamations to whoever we're presenting them to. I don't mean the ones that come from staff. Obviously, those are in this room. But other proclamations, we had gotten really good at taking them to those places.

And now we're starting to do them every one in the boardroom again. I actually think it's more powerful to go to them with our proclamations than to have them come into the boardroom. So if we could start trying to do that again, I'd appreciate that as well. I am now going to read the consent agenda. The consent agenda is as follows. Bless you. Item R1, Proclamation to Recognize May 17, 2024 as Bike to Work Day. That is for approval only. Item R2, Proclamation to Recognize May 10th as Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. That's for approval only. Item R3, Proclamation to Recognize May 2024 as National Tennis Month. That's for approval and presentation. R4, I'm sorry, that was R3, this is R4. Resolution to recognize Loudoun County, Virginia's Governor's Cup winners.

That's for approval and presentation. R8, Proclamation to Declare May 12th through 18th, 2024 as National Police Week and May 15th, 2024 as Police Officers Memorial Day.
