Good afternoon, good evening, Supervisors. Good evening, staff. Good evening, Loudoun. I'd like to call to order the February 3rd, 2026 Loudoun County Board Supervisors Business Meeting. Item R1, Proclamation to Recognize Black History Month in Loudoun County. Item 1A, Loudoun County Invasive Plant Species Management Program Guidelines for County Managed Lands. Item 2A, Appointments and Confirmations. And Item 3, Administrative Items Report of February 3rd, 2026. Is there a motion to move the adoption of the proposed consent agenda? So I have had, I don't know, numerous calls with VDOT and Dominion and I've talked to the person from NOVAC about first the impending snowstorm and then the snowstorm after that. We are all aware that the response to the snowstorm was less than we would have hoped for and I think VDOT is aware of that as well. I do want to remind everybody that VDOT is a state agency and not a county agency but we are in close contact with VDOT and they are, we have had lots of conversations and Mr. Vice Chair Turner, Ms.

Brixman and myself have all decided that it would be a great idea for VDOT, as well as some constituents' request, for VDOT to come to us at some point and just do a post-mortem on what happened with the storm. Not so much to blame, but just find out what the holes were, what happened, because this probably should have gone smoother, and so let's figure out how to make sure it goes, it's smoother for the next snowstorm. I also wanna say that I participated in the NACO Mid-Sides County meeting again. We reviewed our goals that we will discuss at the Ledge Conference, which I will be attending on February 21st, I think we're going. And again, they are housing and healthcare. I wanna say one more time that I cannot go to RAC, the Rural Action Caucus.

I used to go to RAC because I am a vice chair of the Mid-Sides Caucus. Mr. Croney has agreed to go to RAC, so I really, really appreciate that. Usually Mr. Sainz, and I think Supervisor Glass goes to Luck. The RAC is a county that is 250,000 or less, and Luck is a county that is, which is a large urban county, is 500,000 or more. We have been in this bubble between the two, and so the Midsize County Caucus is very new.
