Okay, pursuant to Code Section 2.2-3708.3 and the Board's Rules of Order, Vice Chair Julie Brixman has requested to participate in this meeting by electronic communication. A physical quorum of the Board is present in the Boardroom and the Board has made arrangements for the voice of Vice Chair Brixman to be heard by all persons in the Boardroom. Vice Chair Brixman has made this request within the required timeframe and the Account Attorney determined that Vice Chair Brixman's request meets the qualifications to participate remotely. I'm going to turn the gavel over or turn the microphone over to Chair Mansfield to lead the members of the school board in their budget carry disclosure statements. And then I'll come back and make comments. And then we'll go back to Ms. Chair Mansfield. She will have a slide before we do the presentation from Dr. Spence. Ma'am.

Thank you, Chair Randall. I will start with the disclosures. As a member of the Loudoun County School Board, I make the following disclosure to the school board and to the general public in connection with the item on tonight's agenda regarding the budget and or health insurance and related benefits and any other discussion that may include or affect benefits for LCPS employees. Specifically, as a school board member, I am eligible to receive health insurance and related benefits as an LCPS employee. These benefits, however, affect thousands of employees, well in excess of the statutory three employees whose interests may also be affected, of which I am included. I can and will participate fairly, objectively, and in the public interest.
