Oh yeah, yeah, okay. Good evening. I would like to call to order the January 29th, 2025 Transportation and Land Use Committee special meeting. This room has a hearing loop. For this special meeting, committee members would be allowed two minutes. Each four questions. So this is the second uh rural Zoeam CPM meeting. This is about agricultural processing and about farm labor housing. So that's the the topic for tonight. And I thank you for all come for coming. Um tonight's meeting will occur in the following order. Staff will provide their presentation following staff's previous.
Presentation, the TLUC members will have two minutes to ask questions of staff. Then I will call each stakeholder to provide their comments, and each stakeholder will be allotted three minutes. We will then take a 10-minute break, and when we return, the committee and invited stakeholders will then move to the table right here in front of the dais for a committee of the whole. We will then go through the five issue topics that staff has detailed in the item of the Committee of the Whole. And staff will have three minutes to introduce the issue topic, and then we'll hold a 20-minute committee of the whole with a one-minute timer for speakers. Following the five issue topics, we will take a 10-minute break prior to a wrap-up.
Session. Staff will provide a three-minute introduction to the wrap-up session and note any outstanding areas. If needed, there will be a 20-minute committee of the whole with a one-minute timer per speaker. Okay, at this time, staff will present the item. And then following staff's presentation, each member of TLUC will be allotted two minutes for questions of staff. And I want to thank um Mr. Wilson, Mr. Galindo, I don't see him today, um, but Judy Brickett and um and every and all the other staff. And what's your name? Teresa Miller. Oh, nice to meet you, Teresa. And then you're new, David, right? Yeah. Nice to nice to see you too. Thank you. So we'll start with the uh presentation.
Thank you, Madam Chair. Welcome to the second stakeholder meeting for the Western Loudon Rural Uses and Standards Project. This meeting will focus on agricultural processing, tenant housing and uh essentially l labo related lodging. Just as some housekeeping issues, uh this second stakeholder meeting is part of a series of seven meetings that we are going to hold here at T Luck. Uh the first meeting that we held was on November twenty first. That meeting involved equestrian and outdoor recreation issues. Uh there is a summary of the results of that meeting in our staff report. And just to look forward to the third meeting that we will be uh holding. That will be scheduled for April twenty fourth. The issues we will be talking about at that meeting will be value added agriculture and agriculture.
In aggregment. Um the consistency of the requirements between bed and breakfast inn, bed and break break bed and breakfast homestay, country inn and rural resort. Uh the issue of whether to move a sawmill from a special exception to a minor s special exception. A review and discussion of definitions for agritourism activity and agritamment, uh agricultural products, bona fide agriculture, as well as the discussion of whether or not the county needs to draft a definition for farm, because we currently do not have a definition for farm. Uh in addition, we will be discussing the allowance of a setback waiver to allow an agricultural structure to be rebuilt within the same footprint, and we will be revisiting the conservation easement density issue that was uh part of the discussion during the PriMag Soils project uh that was recently concluded.
One more uh issue regarding uh the future meetings. Uh originally we had scheduled for June the Mountainside Overlay District signage discussion. That meeting has been moved to September.
