Uh following staff's introduction, uh they will introduce VDAX. We have V Dox on the phone. Um who will do a brief presentation? Uh Ms. Karen Bergen and Pam Miles. And then we'll have questions from the committee. We have two minutes for questions. Then staff will come back and do a presentation about the zoning that we're discussing tonight. And then TLUC members will then have two minutes to ask questions of staff. Then I will call each stakeholder to provide their comments. Comments. Each stakeholder will be allotted three minutes. The committee and invited stakeholders will then move to the tables in front of the dais for a committee of the whole.

And we're going to have dinner at 6:30, so it'll be around that time. Then we will go through the four issue topics that staff has detailed in the item. And staff will introduce the issue topic, and then the committee as the whole will have a one-minute time limit per speaker. So um I am going to uh try and do a hard stop at 10 30. Um hopefully we won't need that long but we're gonna finish this I I see your face. We're gonna finish this top all these topics. So I don't want to move them to another meeting like we had to do with the lodging. Um so uh we'll probably have a wrap up and then we'll be done. So if we can finish before ten thirty, that's great, but I'm gonna ha I'm gonna do a hard stop at ten thirty.

Thank you, Madam Chair. Welcome to the Western Loudoun Rural Uses and Standards Stakeholders Meeting Number Four. Farm Wineries, Limited Breweries, and Limited Distilleries. This project was authorized by the board in September of 2024 to review the existing standards in Western Loudoun for specific uses. We have had three stakeholder meetings today. Originally, we had uh approved seven stakeholder meetings. Uh since that time, we have added one additional stakeholder meeting. Uh Looking forward to the future schedule, uh, we will be discussing mountainside overlay district and signage September 30th. Uh the uh meeting that was added uh is going to be October twenty second. That will be bed and breakfast.

Uh we will be discussing food trucks, uh food service and rural restaurants on November fifth. And then the ma meeting eight will be the uh essentially the catch-all uh meeting where we have overflow topics. Uh that date is still to be determined. It will be in early two thousand twenty six. Uh for this particular meeting, uh we are here to discuss farm wineries, lim limited breweries, and limited distilleries. Uh obviously uh staff is hopeful that we uh come out of this meeting with some uh uh specific and direct uh direction from uh from T Luck uh and the stakeholders as far as uh future language that you'd like to see drafted or Uh may maybe you decide that certain language doesn't need to be drafted and we're comfortable with where things stand right now, but we would like to have that discussion and uh come come to some uh clear conclusions.

Uh one thing that I want to remind everybody uh, especially with this meeting is that there will be overlapping issues, um particularly with um Food service. Certainly, food service is a vital and important part of the businesses that we were going to be talking about tonight.
