All right, we're going to start. I would like to call to order the October 22nd, 2025 Transportation Land Use Committee Special Meeting. This room has a hearing loop. If you need hearing assistance, switch your hearing aids to telecoil mode. If you need a headset, we have those available as well. Please see the clerk to request one. For this special meeting, committee members will be allowed two minutes for questions. Tonight's meeting will occur in the following order. Staff will provide their introductory presentation. Following staff's presentation, the TLUC members will have two minutes to ask questions of staff. Then I will call on each stakeholder to provide their comments. Each stakeholder will be allotted three minutes.

Then we will take a dinner break if it's 6.30. And after returning the committee and invited stakeholders, we'll then move to the tables in front of the dais for your committee of the whole. We will go through the five issue topics that staff has detailed in the item. In the following Committee of the Whole, staff will introduce the issue topic. We will hold a 20 minute Committee of the Whole session with two minute time limit per speaker. Each person will only speak once per topic. I would like to remind everyone to not interrupt each other and to be respectful of everyone's opinions. So I'll make sure that I call on everyone if you would like to speak during that 20 minute time. At the conclusion of the meeting, staff will provide a summary of the feedback received as part of the wrap-up session and note any outstanding areas.

If needed, the chair may authorize an additional 20-minute committee of the whole with a two-minute time limit per speaker. As a reminder to facilitate an efficient meeting and ensure we gather feedback from all stakeholders on every agenda topic, at the conclusion of tonight's meeting, the staff will provide the committee with a brief summary of the meeting's highlights. However, the committee members are not expected to finalize their positions on the issues during this meeting. After this input session, the staff will return to a future regular TLUC meeting to summarize the discussions and receive guidance from the committee on the agenda topics before they begin to draft proposed text. At this time, staff will present the item.

Welcome. Thank you, Madam Chair. Welcome to stakeholder meeting number six of the Western Loudoun Rural Uses and Standard Project. This meeting will focus on lodging uses. More specifically, we will be talking about the various bed and breakfast uses as well as boarding camps, day camps, and campgrounds. Just to give you a quick overview of the remaining schedule for this phase of the project, we do have two remaining stakeholder meetings. Meeting number seven, which will occur in two weeks, actually, from today on November 5th. That meeting will focus on food trucks, food service, as well as... uh include the continuation of the wineries breweries and distilleries discussion that we began in july but didn't finish the final meeting in the stakeholder series will be the miscellaneous meeting where

We discussed some of the topics we didn't finish during this process, as well as some other just general cleanup categories. That meeting date has not yet been solidified. In addition, we will be coming back to TLUC for actual direction on some of the language that we will be putting together. Those meetings will, there will be three of those meetings, the first one being in December. We will ask for direction from TLUC regarding the food service issue, mod, and signage.
