Uh Vice Chairman uh McPhail we do. We have three individuals signed up for public comment time, so I'm gonna call your three names in order if you would like to proceed to the back of the room. and uh address your comments from the microphone, please start. by providing your name, Magisterial District. And you have three minutes unless you are representing an organization. At which point you have five minutes. And the first is Dr. Stoger. Followed by Bill Wright and Carl Grett.

Good evening, Allie Stoger from Gainesville District. At the September fourteenth, twenty twenty two planning commission meeting that approved the CPA and the September ninth letter. Um, I think it was Commissioner Kunz who said um It's not a big problem if there were some irregularities because the Board of County Supervisors uh would be looking at everything again during their meeting. At the December first uh meeting uh November first or December first this um uh meeting for the Board of County Supervisors, we were told, Well don't worry about it, it's just the CPA. Everything will be taken care of in more detail for the rezoning. And now we are told that there are going to be thirty four data centers zoned on December twelfth.

Madam Clerk, can you turn on the uh overhead projector for Into Gainesville district, Bristow. And And uh Haymarket. And those areas in orange and yellow. are what's already zoned, the ones in black are what's already built. There are over fifty data centers that have not been built in our community. And yet what's coming up on December twelfth in one fell swoop are another thirty four data centers. On top of that, there are several organizations that are trying their best to come up with ordinances and standards to regulate this industry. The V Virginia Data Center Reform Coalition is an organization that was just formed a statewide commission. The HOA round table put together a working group of people from Prince William Loudoun and Fauquier County.
They had a news conference about a day ago. I think you've gotten their report for standards and ordinances that should be um considered for this industry. And your own county data center advisory group Which has been put together but won't have recommendations for another one or two years. And yet you're telling me that you that w well this county's telling me that they want to zone another thirty four data centers in one day. On top of all of that that has been zoned already. This is unjustice. It's horrible for the environment. And this is completely unfair to the people who live in those districts. So I really hope you consider that when you make your recommendations for the the those thirty-four data sets.
