Okay, set in 2125, destination coast takes place in a futuristic London transformed into a corporate-controlled megacity.
The powerful corp corporation overcon has automated much of society with robotic labor, leaving many humans jobless and desperate.
At the center of the city's modernization is the Paradise Loop, a revolutionary high-speed train capable of traveling from London to New York in under an hour.
Uh as over
Prepares a massive anniversary celebration for the Paradise Sloop.
Tensions explode across the city.
Thousands of displaced workers organize an armed revolt against the corporation.
Uh, they believe destroyed their livelihoods and freedom.
We have Detective Gina Serene and her ex-partner, Lance Wingman, uh, becoming uh trapped between the violent uprising and the ruthless corporate system.
Now, that is the overarching story, but for context.
society evolved over time where it seemed like there was uh some peace and there seemed like there were it was just sort of like this this rising up of activists who had issues with uh the the way that well basically let's just say issues with gentrification if you want to call it that.
But then they things went a little bit too far and and guns became so readily available that it became hyper, hyper violent and then that sort of
there was a backlash of that and sort of the police became hyper, hyper violent.
And so now it there's often these like exactly there's often these sort of like images in the b in the story where, you know, you have one officer, Gina.
Who's basically saying we'd go in and sort of you know de-escalate the scenario and all the other officers are just like kill 'em all, kill 'em dead, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And that it just becomes this thing where, you know, you have to sort of roll back, um, she's trying to sort of roll back this idea of just shoot first and ask questions later while she's in the minority here.
So much so that it has left her with uh severe anxiety.
Yeah.
Um, she's got a great mind, she's got a great detective mind, she's got a she's incredibly smart, but in this age of shoot first and ask questions later.
intelligence isn't really the thing that brings you to the top of the heap.
