So periods of market volatility are actually very good tools.

Really extreme volatility that scares people and gets people to stop trading is not good for them.
But something like you've seen in recent weeks where interest rates are going up, people are thinking, you know what, maybe we're in a different environment.
I need to adjust my portfolio.
I need to make some changes because my expectations have changed.
That's the kind of thing that's actually very healthy for these banks trading businesses.
And so that occurred in the current quarter, the fourth quarter.
And I think they're going to see some benefit from that as well when they report fourth quarter results.
Yes.
Yeah.
So we've had a number of larger banks like JP Morgan, Bank of America, Citigroup, which are all kind of sensitive, more sensitive to the overall economy than these investment banks.
And the results are all pretty decent.
We've seen some slowdown in loan growth, which if it continues could be a problem.
But we're seeing very, very low, for example, consumer defaults and business defaults on loans, basically at historic lows.
And that tells you that the economy is good right now domestically.
And
You know, concerns about a trade war and things like that are not yet really hitting the pocketbooks of average Americans.
That's right.
In fact, consumer lending is growing faster than business lending at most of these banks.
