So back in 2017, I was in alignment with the nine to five job I hated.

I was waiting and I wanted so bad to be a YouTuber, to not be working a nine to five job I hated, dealing with corporate politics.

And one of the things I recognized is part of my self-image was that I am a nine to five job goer.

That was part of my self-image.

And even then, it was slowly, shortly after I read the book Psycho-Cybernetics, which I know you've probably heard of.

And our internal self-image is very powerful.

Yes.

I recognize that my self-image was that I work a nine to five sales job selling women's shoes.

And what I recognized is that I realized I saw myself as a mediocre sales employee.

I was always right in the middle of the list because you'd get every day the people sales from the last day.

I was always right in the middle.

I was never the bottom.

I was never always at the top.

And what I realized is that my self-image is that I'm an average sales employee.

So eventually what I did is I started to see myself as a top sales employee.

I started to be a top sales employee.

This meant actually greeting every customer, not trying to select which customers were best, profiling they called it, trying to just people you think would buy.

A lot of people I worked with would do that.

I was like, I'm not gonna do that.

I'm gonna greet every customer.
