You're going to see some outlandish salaries for guys you wouldn't think...

I think Leo Carlson is first in line.
Again, when Kaprizov signed his deal for 17 mil with Minnesota, we were all like, wow, that's a big number.
He's a great player.
No one would deny that.
It's the price of doing business.
But he was going to be a UFA at the end of the season.
Carlson is an RFA, so it's a different situation.
and it's one that I think is just so incredibly fascinating, and I cannot wait to see how it plays out and what Philly does if Anaheim matches, how Anaheim proceeds with its contractual situation, because they're going to have to make subsequent moves to clear space, to sign Gauthier.
They might have to ship out other guys.
Again, Philly has screwed Anaheim so badly here.
Totally fair.
They screw themselves by not...
having the foresight to see this coming and thinking no one would do this.
But it's a lesson to be learned for all these teams around the NHL.
