I just watched that press conference.
And listen, I have a lot of respect for Matthew Nyes.
Because I think there's a lot of people who just shut it down and said...
I'm not playing anymore.
I'm injured.

And maybe if he was a little bit older and a little bit wiser, perhaps, that would be his move.
But he said it himself.
A lot of guys are banged up this time of year.
That's what you say in the playoffs.
The beginning of the Stanley Cup playoffs, no one's at 100%.
Yeah, yeah.
But there's no reason why you're playing if you're not at 100% because it's a two-pronged thing.
One, he makes your team better, although he hasn't had the best of seasons.
And two, start his offseason earlier.
Get him back on track as soon as possible, especially considering we saw Austin Matthews, the 12-week recovery, which a lot of people are pointing to.
Oh, that's right around the Stanley Cup final.
Maybe Matthews can return for that.
That ain't happening, people.
