Think so?
I'm not feeling it.
I hope so.
I don't think you are either, so I think a couple days you are.
But yeah, they'll be back next week, as will the Toronto Blue Jays, who take on the Athletics on Friday night down at the Dome.
And Dave, I gotta be...
very clear when I say this.
I am stunned by how calm Blue Jays fans are heading into this season considering the litany of injuries that they've suffered throughout the course of spring training.
So let me run you through it.
We know Santander done for essentially the season.
Jose Barrios has a stress fracture in his elbow.
Shane Bieber's elbow has been screwed up for a long time now.
Trey Savage has a right shoulder impingement.
He will start the season on the injured list.
And then, again, not to play Mr. Negative here, but Cody Ponce hasn't pitched in the majors since 2021.
Max Scherzer turns 42 this year.
Dylan Cease, love the free agent acquisition.
He did have a 4.55 earn run average last season.
But Blue Jays fans are calm.
And I get it.
