It's a really interesting point you make, and I I look at three players here.
Firstly is Macaulay Langstaff who made the jump to go from Knotts County to Millwall.
Didn't work.
He he spurned a lot of chances and and then you question the quality of the finishing in the divisions and you qual question does he quite have that that clinical edge that you need in that division.
The second player is is Jessica Abier, who's gone from Grimsby upper level to to late in Origin, and you think that's a
good little transition you got there because he scored a lot of goals.
The third player, and this is where it gets difficult for a club like yours, is Zan Votnik.
Because he goes into Swansea City, seven goals in his first season, you're thinking, okay, yeah, five.
Twenty-five goals last season.
The question is, does a club like Bottom Wanderers have the time available to to wait for those goals to come, to to to shepherd that player through through his first year maybe?
Because results are everything.
Okay, let's talk uh Southampton now.
Um I mean last week we we chatted about how they'd approach the season after Spygate.
