And they actually had three months to figure it out.
And so it did take me about three months to four months to come up with a system that created a repeatable prospecting system that created a predictable way to generate good appointments, like sales appointments at companies that we wanted to get into, even if they'd never heard of us before.
No, I mean, at a junior level, I mean, it depends.
By that time, Salesforce was like 150 people.
So it was small, but not small enough that I really had a chance to negotiate what I was going to get beyond, you know, very little bit.
So I think if you're, and there's a lot of value.
So a couple of things.
First of all, if you have read all these blogs and you're like, jobs suck and say, you know,
Shut the fuck up, because that's the only place you can get paid to learn.
So the trick is, what do you want to learn?
It's hard to start a business.
The thing is, all the stories out there make it seem easy for two reasons.
Because those are the stories that are interesting, so they get published.
And the people who are telling the stories want to sell you something in some way, usually.
But the point, starting a company is great.
Getting a job is great.
How much are you going to learn?
So find a job where you'll learn the most.
And look, what you get paid is not that big a deal in the scheme of things compared to what you can learn for yourself.
Because at some point, if you do want to start your own company, whatever equity you learn as a company, it's usually not going to amount to much.
