I mean, it's pretty bad.
Yeah, the production has been nonexistent.
And, you know, really, since the season started, this offense has been kind of feast or famine.
It's been all or nothing.
I don't think they're making good swing decisions right now.
And I think as the offensive issues have, you know, sort of exacerbated each day, the swing decisions tend to get a little bit worse.
They're chasing more and more pitches out of the zone.
And I think it's just sort of like permeated throughout the entire offense.
Yes, Juan Soto is missing, but this lineup is built to not rely on just one hitter.
I think it's tough when you don't have the momentum from somebody like him who gets on base a lot.
But still, this lineup should be producing more than three runs in three games.
not well not well so the thing about New York fans is that Yankee fans have expectations so they get exceptionally angry when the Yankees aren't performing because there is that constant uh just expectation of them being the best every year but with Mets fans they're waiting to be disappointed so then when something like this happens it's almost like it validates their disappointment and it's like oh I guess the season's over already might as well just you know tune out and
And look forward to next year.
They're not taking this exceptionally well.
You know, they do want Carlos Mendoza fired.
I don't see that happening yet.
I do think there's going to be a conversation if things continue like this.
But David Sands is not a guy who is very reactionary.
So I don't see Carlos Mendoza being fired yet.
But the fans, I don't think that's going to appease the fans.
