And so this is we're dealing with a level of chaos no one saw coming.

There are many members of the House, the United States House, who are very insecure about this because redistricting touches everyone.
And this has been very destabilizing.
And so it wouldn't shock me if there actually is a movement that
to pass federal legislation to put some restrictions on this.
But the problem is right now, Republicans can't do that because Donald Trump wants to use this and that we have not seen evidence that they'll defy him.
And so maybe after Donald Trump's tenure in the presidency, there will be some serious reforms on this.
But it has a lot of people shook who aren't even on the radar right now.
And I think that's worth pointing out.
It's Republicans really did get ahead of this when the computer technology came online that helped sort districts more efficiently.
And that technology has gotten better.
And they focused on this in 2010.
And then Democrats, Democrats got blown out.
And they've been behind the eight ball on this issue.
And they've been trying to catch up, trying to catch up.
