Well I think it's bigger than that because I mean
You've got
When I went to University of Tech, I mean, when it is beaten in your head at UT um that you are loyal to your friends, your alumni, you know, the people you went to school with, you're gonna know the rest of your life.
And the I was at U T during the Iraq war.
It was a very political time, but like politics just seemed to always be secondary to um the rooting for the football team.
And
I think, I mean, Laura Ingram was tweeting some things about how Talarico couldn't possibly be a football fan.
And it's just all of these outsiders who didn't go to UT are telling UT what they are.
That is the least effective way to appeal to a Texan.
And they're messing with one, you know, part of the tribe.
And um and I think that a lot of this, I mean, as much as proud as we are of our degrees, I think there's a lot of I mean, excuse me, of football.
There's a lot of anger about what this is doing to the degrees and how it reflects on the university.
And I think university students are coming out looking amazing.
Yeah.
Um, they're carrying themselves with grace and dignity, but it's just one of those
You don't you don't get to mess with our family.
And so, and I think it's um there's a lot of people in the D U T donor class who I think are very disturbed with what they see and they normally are very prolific donors to Republicans.
Absolutely like when I was in college, my one political dream was to be on the board of regents.
And now I'm like, no, no, no, no, no.
But it I mean it it's the state legislatures on their back.
