Now there's a bit of a confusion around this where some people say they need to be sitting completely unassisted.

That's not true.

As long as they can sit in their high chair that you can prop like a towel or see mostly of a towel.

I wouldn't advise a pillow because they often can be a bit bunchy.

But as long as they can sit in their high chair and it's not, they're not bobbling all around the place.
