And that needs to be condemned on its own terms.

I said hurt people, hurt people, and people took great offense to that.

Now we're talking about the the systematic annihilation of tens of thousands of kids, and you're telling me, in effect, well, hurt people, hurt people.

We can condemn

What Hamas did on October seventh.

And we can condemn a genocide that took place thereafter.

And we can do those in two different terms.

But to tell me that I cannot condemn a genocide unless I also condemn the actions of October 7th, somebody else would pick that up and say, yeah, but then what about the systematic uh occupation and apartheid perpetrated?

And we could play that game forever.

I don't want to do that.

I want us to be honest about what needs to happen.

And let's be clear, for too long, the question of interest is not actually what's happening over there.

It's what's happening with our policy in the United States.

We run cover for the state of Israel.

We don't fund Hamas.

We run cover for them at the ICC.

We run cover for them at the ICJ.

We run cover for them at the United Nations.
