And that's fine.

But um I go when I go to up and down the state, there is not a place I stop where people don't tell me, look, I voted for Donald Trump three times and I'm voting for you.

And that's because you really want to give me health.

It's because you don't want to send my money abroad to do heinous things like make wars we shouldn't be fighting.

You want to keep it here at home.

And you seem to be honest about the fact that you believe that our politics should be of the people and by the people instead of of the corporations and by the corporations, because you've never taken a dime of corporate money.

So I'm happy to defend my record.

Donald uh Donald Trump uh will continue to make this race about him and Mike Rogers is gonna be stuck between the two of us.

You know, let me just step back and set this up.

Uh, this comes just a couple of days after there was some really embarrassing reporting in Lever News about the fact that this guy and his wife are knee deep in investments in the AI industry.

And the article was specifically about how much money they might make from a data center bonanza with this no holds barred approach that we've got right now.

And so he's at this uh this press conference where he's touting all eight.

Democrats who support him in somebody's front yard.

And he gets asked by a really smart, enterprising local reporter, Craig Mauger, from the Detroit News about his position on data centers.

And the man clearly hasn't actually thought about his position on data centers because he does whatever Donald Trump or the corporations tell him to do.

And he's like, uh, I think we should take a pause.

And then uh his uh his his his team trying to make up for uh the fact that he just made policy from the hip because he hasn't taken the

Time to think about it, issue a press release calling for a statewide moratorium.

But guess what?

He's running for US Senate, meaning he can't actually do anything at the state level.
