That's that's part of some of the reason why I also started this podcast is
A lot of people jump into entrepreneurship thinking about this outcome in mind and they only hear one in ten outcomes.
They only hear the ones that sound good and are good to write about and people are happy to post.
They don't hear about the nine that failed.
And even in the ones that they do hear about, they don't know the full intricacies.
I know people who've sold for eight figures, but they make
less than a million and they've been grinding for eight years and is that worth it?
Like is it worth it to make so little?
And also founders tend to do this thing where while they're building, they're like, Oh, I'm gonna like, you know, have a billow market salary.
I'm only gonna make sixty K a year, a hundred K year, like bare bones 'cause you don't wanna hurt the company.
And at the end of it you're like, Well, I did this for ten years and I have no like no significant amount of money to show for it.
And I feel like that's that's not highlighted enough.
People don't talk about that enough about all the mistakes that happen.
You sign a bad term sheet, you do this, but you just hear the hundred million and twenty eight year old and you're like, I wanna be that person, right?
So to your point, yep.
There's so much more to this journey.
And if it if you don't like do it in a fun way that can be fulfilling, it becomes a grind, it becomes a slog, it becomes a job and that's not why you even started in the first place.
