It stopped short of targeting bridges, civilian infrastructure infrastructure.
So for the time being, we're still seeing measured attacks on both fronts by Iran and by the United States, but definitely not a positive sign because we're seeing an escalation.
That ceasefire that was signed or that temporary ceasefire that was signed in Switzerland seems to be a thing of the past now.
The one thing that is front and center is the Strait of Hormuz.
So what we know is that movement there is still pretty much paralyzed.
We know that Oman and Iran had met to discuss making a middle passage for ships to go through.
But for the time being, the movement there is still pretty much at a standstill parallel to that on the other side of the peninsula.
Movement in the Red Sea is also at risk because we're seeing a parallel sort of aggression happening between Saudi Arabia
and the Houthis in Yemen.
So that is another risk that's emerged over the past couple of weeks or so, and something to keep an eye on.
You know that the deputy foreign ministers of both Oman and Iran had met in Oman over the weekend with the Iranian delegation leaving on Saturday evening.
Now, we don't have a lot of clarity from what actually went on in that meeting.
We have a statement by the Iranians after leaving saying that traffic in the Strait of Hormuz is still very much paralyzed, that it's not going anywhere, that ships are not going anywhere.
We know that the U.S.
had stopped attacking Iran previously.
But it's maintained its naval blockade on Iranian ports and Iranian ships.
So we're still seeing very, very limited movement there.
We don't have a lot of clarity on what happened in that meeting.
We know that Iran has been trying to assert dominance, really, over the Strait of Hormuz.
At the heart of all of this is really the Strait of Hormuz.
