This is one I know might be on your list, but you know nothing about. It is a pixel art turn-based RPG that took the world by storm when it came out and kind of revived the indie genre from where it was. And that is a little game called Undertale.
Oh, yeah. No, if you don't get that emotional connection with it, like within the first hour, you're not going to go anywhere with it. Because the whole point of it is not to fight monsters and level up. It's to be human and show humanity and see what happens. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. It's this great little game where you fly through space and you just happen to be stuck in a time loop and the sun is exploding.

It is one of the most incredible 3D roguelikes. And it's multiplayer, so you can play with friends. Yeah. Come on!
