So sometimes even if it says something that maybe you think, oh, that's throwing me, then maybe you've still got to be interested in it and you've still got to think, well, why do I think that?
Why has it surprised me?
So I think it's really interesting that he's top of that stack.
Well, I think it's probably because he plays for Burnley.
Yeah, I think so.
I think when generally people think of Burnley, they think of an experienced group of players who have a strong work ethic.
And even this season with McNeil in the team, there's only Palace and Watford who have named a Premier League starting line-up with an older average than them.
But he's the exception to the rule, really.
He's the
the 20-year-old, the youngest player in the Premier League to play every game this season.
And he's so important to that team precisely for that reason, really, because he is a little bit different to the other players they've got.
Burnley dribble less than any team in the Premier League, but he's their top dribbler by a distance.
And he's got great delivery too, so he's top five for open play crosses and he ranks second for crossing accuracy among players with 100 crosses or more this season.
And Adama Traore is top of that list, perhaps surprisingly, but it is a fairly intuitive list.
Andy Robertson is third and Kevin De Bruyne is sixth.
So that's kind of an indication of his strengths and how important he is.
And he still had to stick to the principles that you'd expect of a Sean Dyche player.
I think only James Tarkovsky has made more tackles at Burnley, but clearly he has something to his game that the others don't.
And that's kind of reflected in Burnley's play this season.
